Any Video editing software recommendation?

Hey there, don't know if it is a right place to post here.
I want to make a gaming montage video, but don't know what editing software should I use. One of my friends recommend me Premiere and AceMovi Video Editor, but I still want more choices. Do you have any other recommendation? All the replies will be appreciated!

Hi @Anonymous,

It really depends on what your budget is and the tools you need.

Adobe is industry standard these days, with Premiere Pro being a monthly subscription and Premiere Elements being a lifetime license.

There are free and cheaper editors like Movie Maker but they tend to have more limitations or quirks.

Lets me assume you are a beginner and don't have any previous experience in video editing this list will be according to that.

  • Filmora = For basic editing and adding clips transitions (No skill required)
  • Final Cut Pro = Between Filmora and Adobe (Need a basic understanding of the features)
  • Adobe Premiere Pro = For more control over transitions, color grading, and many more (Learning face is highly time-consuming, It will be worth your time)

Thanks and Regards,

Shubham Raturi.

I have used TechSmith Camtasia and Snagit for years now and I am very pleased by its capabilities.

As it was mentioned before, it depends on your needs and budget. I prefer Adobe video editing software as it covers everything I need and is the industry standard. Another one I would recommend is DaVinci Resolve. It has a free version which perfectly suits more advanced projects.

At least some time ago, everyone used Sony Vegas. If more professional level - Adobe After Effects. There are a lot of free editors, but trust me - it's better to understand the ones above. It's also popular now to edit videos from your phone. People even use chromakey to the fullest extent on the phone.

I've been using two video editors, the Wink app and Adobe Lightroom, for quite a while now. You can download them with just a click. Honestly, I'm impressed with the results I've achieved. What more could a non-professional from a renowned studio need? Recently, I edited a video on my phone, and the difference was remarkable! In the past seven months, I've purchased additional tools for this app three times, thanks to the frequent discounts the developers offer—a great bonus for loyal users like me.

Definitely CAMTasia for me. I originally received a copy in exchange for some work many years ago, but it's affordable enough, I keep my own license now.

Even my kids use it, for school projects.

There's plenty of tutorials out there, and the help files are pretty good.

Yeah, no doubt that"s a great option but there are other options as well, and among them the one I use personally is capcut. It also offers great features.

I was in the same boat! I had been exploring options for a good video editor for gaming montages too. Premiere is powerful, but it can be complex if you’re just starting out. AceMovi is user-friendly and decent for quick edits, but if you want more options, you might consider DaVinci Resolve for advanced editing and color grading or CapCut if you’re looking for something simpler and free with good effects and transitions. Furthermore, if you are into capcut video editing and looking for some trending Healing Thailand CapCut Templates then click here. HitFilm Express is another solid choice with some great features for gaming videos. Hope this helps, and good luck with your montage!
