Autocad Architecture was good when softdesk owned iti was introuduced to it in S8 I was reluctant because AutoCAD 12 was so good, but honestly I saw how the program would make me more procient doing contruction documents so i gladly switched and learned it. Cant say any of those past experiences are applicable to revit, unfortunately. IAutoCAD Architrtecture is so very close to being the ultimate draftsman tool, if they litterlaly just fixed everything in it.

I think hybridity is the perfect word. AutoCAD Architecture lets users combine intelligent AEC objects with traditional drafting whenever needed. That flexibility is valuable because construction documents often require both automation and manual drafting. BIM has many strengths, but efficient drafting is still important for many professionals. I hope Autodesk continues improving AutoCAD Architecture because it remains a powerfull tool for producing construction documents.
