To many Streams under Manage->Usage

Hey, under my project it says that i have 721 streams in the project. 

Under Manage->Usage it says 1751. What it the reason and how do i fix it?

Actually, when viewing the Connections panel by Status, that tells you that you have 721 Connections.

For a more detailed explanation on how we count Streams and Connections, I recommended reviewing the Explained! How are Streams counted? forum post. Please keep in mind that there have been several product updates since that forum topic was posted, but the concepts are still the same. Just how the information is presenting in the product has changed.
