Our Latest Feature, Direct File Upload, is Now Available!!

We are happy to announce the new release featuring the direct document upload!

With this new addition, users can now upload documents straight from their local drives into Tandem. Moreover, these files can be relinked, supporting the same workflows as linking from Autodesk Docs. In case of a file update, our system also supports relinking to ensure the most current version is accessible.

The file formats supported in this release for documentation purposes include: .apng, .avif, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .svg, .webp, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .odt, .ods, .odp, .csv, .zip.

A welcomed addition.

I'm yet to test it, but this should provide a smoother experience leading up to handover where the GC can link documents in from their Docs project, while the asset owner (who may not have access to the GC's Docs) can now also contribute documents via upload.
