New Release – Revit & Excel Add-in Graduate out of Beta

The Autodesk Tandem Team is excited to announce that our Excel Add-in and Revit Add-in have been released. These add-ins enhance Tandem’s capabilities for managing asset data, facility templates, classifications, and parameters. 

 

Additionally, these add-ins take advantage of familiar interfaces used by a broad audience, making digital twins' asset data more accessible.

Excel Add-In Release Notes 

The Excel Add-In seamlessly connects Excel with Tandem, providing enhanced capabilities for managing your facility templates, classification, and parameters. This release brings a range of functionalities to streamline your workflow and improve data transfer between Excel and Tandem including data value adding. 

Key Features 

  • Facility Template: Easily manage your facility templates directly from Excel. With the Excel Add-In, you can create and modify your facility templates, ensuring consistency and efficiency across your projects. 
  • Classification: Take control of your classification process within Excel. The Add-In allows you to define and update classifications, ensuring accurate and standardized data across your organization. 
  • Parameter Management: Simplify parameter management by leveraging the Excel Add-In. You can now define, modify, and manage parameters directly from Excel, saving time and effort in maintaining your data. 
  • Enhanced Data Transfer: Seamlessly transfer information between Excel and Tandem. The Add-In provides a user-friendly interface where you can open a view or apply filters to select specific values for transfer. This ensures flexibility and precision when synchronizing data between the two platforms. You will be able to open the inventory of an specific view and modify data in Excel that then is sent back to Tandem.
