I have imported a BIM360 view into Tandem and it is missing multiple components. I have attached screenshots showing one example of this, where some roof components have not come through. The model is up-to-date and is the exact view seen in the BIM360 screenshot. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Hi @Hamish_Smith37X3L ,

Thanks for posting. This can be due to a couple of things; it would be great if you could confirm.

  1. Are the missing elements all in the same view/phase that was imported into Tandem?
  2. While I think it's unlikely, is the room the element is associated with in the phase that was selected on import to Tandem?

Let me know!

Jess

Hey Jessica,

1. Yes, exact same view

2. All the same Phase

Today, this roof is there but another roof is missing.

I've done a bit more digging, and turns out they are actually there, but some of the faces are transparent for some reason. This is the above roof when expanded. And you can see here there are a few roofs with the same issue.

I've tried playing with the Appearance settings with no luck. And tried opening in Edge rather than Chrome, same issue.

Any reason why this is happening?

Here's another example showing ceiling from above vs. ceiling from below. One side is see-through, the other isn't.

Hey Jessica,

It looks like I replied to myself rather than your message so you may not have seen these updates.

Wondering if you could help us out?

Cheers
