Hi ,

I want to try using the Strams to monitor my model, for example checking the airflow at each Air Terminal and the supply air flow at each space, but I'm not sure how to accomplish it or what parameter should be prepared in the model first. I also can't seem to find any turtoral of it. So if you can, please provide me with further information about it. Kind regards. I have scusseful to use System , and space now

Hi @chseetoA2FB8 ,

I saw your reply on the Streams Highlight - Setting up a Connection in Tandem video. As I mentioned in the video, the sensor's IoT data must be sent to the connection, and then users can configure parameters. Due to the number of IoT devices on the market, there is no specific workflow we can highlight that will work for all devices. To learn more about our API and connection to Azure check out this forum post and IoT and OT Integrations with Streams on Tandem's AKN site.

Please submit a support case here if those resources do not resolve your blocker.

@chseetoA2FB8 Without a screenshot, it is hard to say. I would review the Configure Connections page on Tandem's AKN site to see if that resolves the blocker for you.

Thanks for your reply,

I had read the page and I not iunderstand the meaning for below JSON file, how to make it ?

  • First the device needs the ability to deliver data in a basic JSON format using key value pairs*. Below is an example:

    • "Date": "2023-03-21T01:15:00Z"
    • "Tempurature (C)": 41

Hi @chseetoA2FB8 ,

A JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) file is a standard text-based format for representing structured data based on JavaScript object syntax. There are a number of ways to create this file. There are a number of online tools that can convert csv files to json. I would search online for a solution that works best for you.

Hi @chseetoA2FB8 ,

As I mentioned, there are several tools available online that can assist with creating a JSON file. I would do a Google search to see what options are available to you to determine what would work best.

Once the JSON file is created, we have resources on the Autodesk Knowledge Network that can help you create and configure a Connection in Tandem.
