Hourly-based heatmap

Hi everyone,

I sent data to tandem about the temperature during the day in my living room. Thus, I could see a heatmap where my living room is colored (representing a temperature).
However, I don't understand what temperature this color represents ? Is it an average of the temperature of the day ? Is it one temperature of the day (then, which one and why ?) ?

Also, my goal is to have a heat map but where you can chose the date and the time you want and the map uploads with the corresponding data. How can I do this ?

Thank you all !
Have a nice day !

Hi @ana_ferreira_silva !

Currently, our heatmapping feature only displays the last reading received from an IoT device. Other users, like yourself, have submitted feedback describing how they would like to see historical heatmaps with a date and time picker. This is something that is being worked on with no ETA at the moment, but it's great to see how much value this feature will bring. You can check out our published roadmap and submit feedback to the product team here.

Focusing on the question of what temperature the color is representing-there is a legend that appears when the Connections panel is open as picture below. The legend defines what color represents what temperature. With the spreadsheet view open, there is a "Last Reading" column, so you know when the data was last received.

Opening the charts view, hovering the cursor over the graph, and scrolling in on the charts will display more granular data. Hovering the mouse over the now zoom-in graph will display the sensor reading at that time.

I recommend reviewing the Streams Highlight - Stream Charts Explained forum post that explains how to interact with these. Please keep in mind that since that forum post was created, there have been several updates to the Connections and Streams feature as we know them today.

Let me know if you need me to elaborate further on anything I have mentioned.

Hi, I'm encountering a problem saying, "This parameter is not configured for spatial heatmap." I tried sending CO2 values (for 1 day) and would like to see its heat map.

Hi geannang,

Can you confirm if the asset you've assigned the CO2 parameter to, has a relationship associated with a room or space? There's additional details on how to solve this error in the following forum discussion - https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/tandem-forum/can-not-see-heatmap/td-p/13133647.

Thank you,

Geoff
