Display external environmental data?

Has there been any discussion about the possibility of displaying external environmental data, maybe as overlaid data near the ViewCube? I believe a lot of this data is available to Autodesk, particularly via the Infraworks Model Builder. And, Tandem has a true north direction which I believe at the moment doesn't have any real use with other features.

The use case is for building performance of spaces at the building's perimeter walls and identifying correlations for any negative internal impacts.

Data such as:

  • Weather for Temp, Humidity, Pressure, Air Quality, etc.
  • Sun Rise and Set Times.
  • Showing sun shadows on the model.
  • Showing surrounding structures that may impact sun shadows.

Regarding my Infraworks comment, I don't mean creating an Infraworks model that is then linked into Tandem, rather linking IW Model Building data directly into Tandem.

Hi @Chad-Smith ,

We have talked about this.😁 Tandem Connect addresses this, and another user started a thread in our Insider Lounge under the General Discussions section titled Access Weather API. Feel free to join the discussion there.

Thanks!

Jess
