A tagged asset in Tandem is any asset that has been classified AND has at least one associated parameter has been populated. Tandem does consider multiple of the same asset as one asset. For example, there are 100 of the same light fixtures. Since it is doubtful that these 100 light fixtures have any significant difference, they have Type properties rather than Element properties. This means that the 100 light fixtures are counted as one tagged asset. Assets tagged with Element properties will be counted individually as a tagged asset.
To view the tagged asset breakdown for an account, navigate to the Manage screen and select Usage*. At the top of the window, you will find the Account Totals with the following breakdown:
- The Number of Elements is the total number of objects across all facilities. Note that this is not the number of tagged assets.
- Tagged Assets Usage is the number of assets across all facilities matching the above description. The number reported is the total number of tagged assets out of the total number allowed based on the number of asset packs purchased. For example, if this number is listed as X/1000, the account is free, and no asset packs have been purchased.
Example: Tagged Asset Usage = 5/10,000. This means that there are five tagged assets out of 10,000 available assets. - Last Updated - There is no automatic refresh on the tagged asset reporting since multiple users can be working on the same model at any given time. This report is updated within 24 hours.
Below the Account Totals Summary is an asset breakdown by building. For each building, there is the following:
- Number of Elements for that building
- Number of Tagged Assets for that building
- Percentage of All Assets - This is the percentage of the total tagged assets for the account. This number can be significant when planning the cost of running a building or project before handover.
- Last Updated for that building
The Clean Tagged Assets button will force tagged assets to clean up and update the number of tagged assets count. In addition, this function will check to see what assets have been newly tagged, that is, assets that have been classified and at least one parameter has been filled in. WARNING: This function also removes the classification for elements that do not have any associated parameters filled in and removes them from the tagged asset count.
*Account Admins are the only ones that have the permission to view the Usage tab
