I've been working on a project that has grown a bit in size (the exported .f3d- archive is around 63 MB now). Today I suddenly found myself in a situation where the save button is disabled. My project is at v98, so it clearly uses quite a bit of space on the server, but if I've hit a limit, then I should have been notified, right?
Fortunately the "Save As" menu item was functional, so I could save it to a new document, and as far as I can see, I didn't lose anything.
I thought this was a hiccup of sorts, so I restarted Fusion and then reopened my original document. It opens normally, but the save button is still disabled, and there is no notification that it is "Read Only" or anything like that. What could cause this?
Well, it turns out that not all of what I wrote is true. I can in fact open my original document, do some changes and the Save button becomes active (as it should).
So in other words, the initial issue was a glitch in Fusion, where it obviously thought it was in a state where there were no changes to save, so it disabled the Save button (but there was an asterisk after the file name in the document tab, indicating pending changes).
However, I'll have to continue working on my copy anyway, since that has the most recent changes.
