Will the pricing be based on what the Standard Retail Price would be?

Am I understanding correctly that the pricing will be based on what the Standard Retail Price would be and not on any discounted price we currently have?

For example: we have 4 multi-user Revit subscriptions that we have a discounted price on for the next two years because we migrated from maintenance. We are "guaranteed" $885 per seat equaling $3540 per year for our renewal in 2020. However, we of course will now need to goto the new plan. Which scenario is correct:

a) We can have 8 revit standard seats for $3540 for 2020 (with 5% increases until 2028)

b) We can have 8 revit standard seats for SRP ($2310 per seat) equaling $9240 (with 5% increases until 2028)

I am suspicious that we just lost the "locked in" discount we received last year for migrating to subscription.

Autodesk has said they will honor these discounted rates. We're in the same situation as you. Make sure that your reseller is on-board with this.

Hi @bridgettrene

The renewal SRP for subscriptions obtained through the trade-in offers will increase by no more than 5% in 2021, 2023, 2025, and 2027—with no changes in SRP for  2022, 2024, 2026 and 2028.

All customers taking a trade-in will have an ongoing renewal discount price through until 2028. This applies to already discounted subscriptions and subscriptions at SRP that are traded in.

If you have a current discount price, that will remain the same as @AllenJessup said (Thanks!) so basically your option a. is the correct one and you'll keep that price for the 2 year plan that was agreed upon.

I did recieve an email back in 2020 however I cannot locate it yet.  However I did the "Trade-in your Perpetual License Under Maintenance Autocad".  Is there anywere where I could find a copy of this offer for my records.  I do have my invoice, but it does not mention anything about the limits of the discounted rate.  I did the purchase with Novedge but my seller says he does not remember how long the deal is for.  Created an Autocad support ticket and they refered me to my seller.  Viscous circles.  I am just looking for offical comfirmation of my situation.  Here is the subline off my invoice:

"AutoCAD Upgrade - Trade-in your
Perpetual License Under Maintenance
AutoCAD - 1-Year Subscription -Trade-in
your Perpetual License Under
Maintenance"

I did see the word discount on my current renewal, however I had to correct my seller who was mistakenly going to charge me quite a bit more until I called him back and he said I was right, however again, he could not tell me how long the discounted rate would last me.  Any help to confirm would be appreciated.
