What happens with the 2to1 offer for a contract that expires in 2022?

According to the FAQ posted here in this forum, the offer to switch from multi-user to standalone and receive a 2 for 1 deal, expires May 7th, 2021. We have a contract with a good number of licenses that isn't up for renewal until August of 2022, well after this magic date that Autodesk pulled out of the air. What happens in this situation?

Hi @SteveBennettTD , thanks for your question!

The 2:1 trade-in is available at your first renewal after May 7, 2020 – regardless of what year that is in. You’ll have the same opportunity to take the trade-in at the same price in two or three years.

Please note that Subscriptions with multi-user access and maintenance plans will retire on May 7, 2021 and cannot be further renewed. So that means in August 2022 you won't be able to renew the current multi-user plan anyway, but if you switch to Single-user plan you still get the trade-in offer at that time.

Hope this helps!

Then please update your FAQ posted here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/subscription-changes/transition-to-named-user-faq-read-before-you-pos...

In its current form, it implies that it is not valid after May 7th, 2021.
