Switching named user licences

Hi,  We have numerous users using AutoCAD, but some LT and some full AutoCAD. Does the new licensing model allow you to change the user from LT to full for a specific project then change back to LT at the end of that project? I know I can physically do this, but do Autodesk allow this?

AFAIK You can change the assignment of the licenses as often as you like. If you have all your full AutoCAD licenses assigned. You will need to take a full license away from one user in order to assign it to another user. So there will be a bit of juggling involved. But I don't see any reason it wouldn't work.

@murphycolinp

As long as you have the required quantity of license this is allowed.   But that means both software needs to be installed on the machine.

I have merged both threads in one and unmarked your post as a solution.

@murphycolinp ,

An admin can unassign and reassign whenever decided, as long as you have the number of subscriptions do not exceed the number of users who need access. For example...if I have 5 AutoCAD subscriptions, I can have no more than 5 users assigned to those subscriptions at any given time. but if project needs change, I can unassign and reassign to another user. For example... if Lauren needs AutoCAD LT for one project for 3 months, at the end of that project, she can be assigned AutoCAD instead for my next project, as long as I have a subscription available.
Usage reporting also makes it clear when I have available subscriptions to assign.
