I am a retired physician who has spent the last three years as a maker of home automation projects for my home. I use Fusion360 for about 20-30 projects a year - all for personal use. I would be happy to pay a subscription fee of about $100/year for limited access. I don't need production, machine options etc. just the basics for drawing and 3D printing. I would like some of the features that have been removed from individual accounts back: "save as" function and the ability to edit without making some files "read only," to name a few. I don't use your product enough to pay hundreds of dollars a year but would be willing to pay around a hundred a year.
Is there a way to offer modules to the individual user at a reduced fee? Modules such as Render, Animation, Simulation or Manufacture could be removed from the "basic unit" and offered as an add on for an additional subscription. This might allow more individual users to use your products on a custom basis. This reduced fee would not be for the professional or used to sell and developed projects. This reduced subscription fee could increase profits and bring in more users. I have several ideas around this idea and would be happy to discuss with any interested party.
Thank you for your time.
This is a peer-to-peer forum with limited interaction from Autodesk, and almost certainly no interaction with anyone who can change product offerings and end user pricing.
I'm not a Fusion360 user. But are you currently using a Personal Use License?
