Aaron and Priscilla, why pinned and locked dupe posts?
These are not duplicates. In a short list of threads like this on a newer forum, early pinned posts also show up in the list of recent threads. Eventually they will get pushed to the bottom of a longer
list and you will no longer see them.

@JamesMaeding, when we pin the posts they appear on top of the thread list but the posts also stay at where they were originally created. Eventually they will get pushed further down the list and you won't see them on the first page. It's just designed that way.
