All calculations performed by ASBD for a particular design code are calculated in accordance with that code. Where assumptions have to be made for a code, this is clearly stated in the help and the printed output.
The only time you may see deviations from the design code is in AASHTO printouts using SI units. AASHTO no longer publish an SI version of the LRFD code so we have to convert the formulae ourselves so that the factors used in them are correct for SI units. This can result in a forumla in an AASHTO printout looking different from the one in the design code.
