I am using the road traffic optimisation on this FE model to identify the worst case loading on the structure. The influence surface is able to generate but when I go to compile load patterns I get the following error.
This results in no loads being compiled. Changing the inputs on the optimiser seems to have no effect on the error. I have tried to change the length of the design line defining the carriageway to see if that has an effect but I still keep getting the error.
The structure is skewed with the carriageway further skewed atop the structure and there is no scope to change the carriageway alignment.
I have see a solution given to reduce the length of the design line but that has not yielded success.
