Can't find the create line beam model in ASB 2024

I’m just starting out with Autodesk Structural Bridge Design, and I’m having some difficulty. In ASB 2024, I can’t locate the Create Line Beam option under Structure Definition - Member Details →-Member Task. Could you please let me know if this feature has been moved, or if there’s an alternative method for creating a line beam in the current version? I’d really appreciate any help.

Hi

Creating a line beam from a grillage functionality was introduced in 2025.  You are using 2024.

You can still create a line beam manually in 2024 via 'Data | Structure Type | Line Beam', and going to the Structure Definition group.

Thanks for the response @simon_hooper, this means that in 2024 we couldn't keep the refined model when using the line beam data>structure.

Correct.  Multiple models introduced in 2025.  Any reason for not updating to latest version 2026?

Yeah i'm a civil engineer fresher. Can't update for now due to budget constraints.
