Hello. I am having trouble of loading the ".sld file" from the US example folder of the Structural Bridge Desgin 2017. I can't find the said files of type when I follow the instructions in the Examples Manual. Also, the Manual is for 2014 versions, and I'm quite struggling to follow the procedures there. What should I do? Thanks.

Hi

If you are following example 5.1, try the following.  Open 'US Example 4_3.sam', and instead of step 3, click on the import icon on the design beam toolbar as shown in the attachment. The loads will be imported.

I am sorry to report that the examples manual has not been updated.  The online help is up-to-date for 2017.

Hi Mr. Hooper

I have followed exactly what you told me and it worked. thank you so much. Also, the 2014 version of SBD lacks of exercise files, especially of .sld files. may I request a copy of the files of type needed for exercise 5.1, namely

US52erectload.sld

US52remtempload.sld

testload.sld

your response will be very much appreciated.thank you
