I want to know how to convert a project made in a basic template into a template of HTC VIVE? Also when I run the project it plays only the template file instead of my project file. Any body to help?
Most of the differences in the tempates will be in the LUA script. I suggest creating two new projects: one based on the basic template and another based on the HTC VIVE template. Since most Stingray data files are text based, you will get good results by running your favorite diff tool to compare the two directories. Then the unique elements in the HTC VIVE template can be copied into your project.
