use the Stingray VR content on HTC vive without installing the steam app

Hi All,

I am very new to Virtual Reality. I have a HTC vive, but I am not able to install Steam app on my PC due to some reason.

Will I need Steam app to install/setup the HTC Vive hardware or can I do it w/o steam as well?

I am building some VR content on stingray and so I wanted to know if I can use the VR content on HTC vive without installing the steam app?

I would be grateful if someone can help me.

this is a limitation of Steam/Vive, not stingray..  You need to have steam set up with the vive software installed
firmware updated, etc ...
