Test Level empty / Run project shows different level

Hi,

sorry for an absolute beginner question (just started a few hours ago), but can't find any reason for the behavior.

The workflow I tried is similar to that video >>>click<<< (the interesting part starts in that video at 3'00", tranferring 3DS geom to Interactive).

What I have is a 3DS-Max scene (3DS-Max 2019) with a simple box (as room, so inverted normals), 1 cylinder inside to have an object in the room, one light and one camera.

My goal is to transfer this simple scene to 3DS-Max Interactive.

So I followed the video, opened 3DS-Max Interactive, with the template "Desktop VR" and I created a new Level.

After that I switched to 3DS-Max and started from the menu "Interactive" ==> "Connect" and then "Interactive" ==> "Send All" (which asked for an FBX-file to create, I gave a it a new file-name).

Back to 3DS-Max Interactive I was then asked what to import (list of checkboxes which I let all by default).

What happens:

1) I don't get anything displayed in the "Level Viewport"

2) when starting "Test Level (F8)" ==> I can't see anything more than clouds/sky

3) when starting "Run project" ==> I see the template content, but not the content of my scene

Please find attached a screenshot about what I see.

What did I miss?

I have searched a lot, but have not found what I did wrong (do wrong).

It might also be not that good to have a product called "Interactive" as Google finds a lot with "3DS-Max" and "interactive" which does not have to do anything with that product here.

Thx in advance! - alfred -

One additional info: if I use in 3DS-Max "Level send all" instead of "Send all" I get the objects from 3DS-Max into the "Level Viewport" window, but ...

1) Test Level ==> empty

2) Run Project ==> shows the geometry/scene from template, not my box/cylinder/light.
