Level Viewport VR

hello all,

so I am having trouble trying to get my scene or level into my HTC Vive HMD.

I have Steam and Steam VR installed , I am using 3d studio max 2018.

I can get the model into 3d Studio Interactive, but I cannot seem to get the scene in the HMD

according to the help guide there should be a Level Viewport VR option in the window pull down but I only see a Level Viewport option which doesn't  send the scene to the HMD when selected.

here is a link to the online help.

https://help.autodesk.com/view/3DSMAX/2019/ENU/?guid=__interactive_help_building_levels_editing_in_v...

also, here are 2 screen grabs of what I am talking about

are you sure ure using the correct release version..  its new on version 2.1.. make sure you open a steam vr template project.  and then start.  you need to import your models in project before editing in VR.

maybe I should look for the newer release

LOL

thanks for your help

any idea where I can find the newer version?

BTW, I am also using Max 2108, does that have anything to do with it?

Lol,.. your using quite old for this. go to your account and download the version of 3ds Max Interactive v 2.1 with Max 2018.3 version   to get the option. as it has linear compatibilty with max and other VR tools.
