Smoke 2015 trial and mac mini

Hello everybody,
I am a PC user and a Avid DS Compositor.
Would like to learn smoke at home, and plan to buy a mac mini ( the cheapest one , with 4Go Ram ) to use the smoke 2015 trial version.
I imagine it won't be a powerful configuration , but it's not to use it in production, just to spend time to learn the software ...
Is it possible and "reasonnable" to do what i would like to ???
Thanks for your inputs.

I doubt that a Mac Mini will work due to the GFX card. also, 4G of Ram will not get you very far.

slamtiger,

I don't know about Smoke 2015, but I ran Smoke 2013 on my MacMini(w16GBram) on the internal HDD drive and it works, a bit slow but it's definitely enough to get some learning done. It ran much faster on my 2011 MBP with 16gb of ram on an external SSD drive via thunderbolt but for the MacMini it's ok.
