The iPad has implemented a number of multi-tasking features that make it natural to have two windows open at once. This gets the user used to the habit of having two things open.
It would be absolutely excellent if Sketchbook on the iPad could open to sketches/files at once, maybe side-by-side. And it would be even better if one could edit either open file.
This would allow people to work on two complementary art pieces or reference one file when adding upon a sketch on another. For architecture, one might want to view the whole building on one side and work on one specific room or floor on the other side.
