Being able to set this to Invisible or 50% transparency would be awesome. Just like you have the quick soft buttons invisible in the four corners. Or when you have triple finger gestures enabled in pen mode, the menu toggle could just be turned off automatically. It would be great if said sliders could be made accessible through capacitive touch only in pen mode so as to not accidentally trigger them when in use.
The reason I say it's because I just got a brand new Galaxy tab S3. And I was reading someone recently did an experiment regarding screen burn-in on AMOLED displays. It just takes 500 hours at full brightness for an image to burn into the screen. I would wind up spending about 500 hours in SketchBook alone in the next 6 months. Samsung does cover image burn in in their warranty, but what about the next six months? Or the next? Because AMOLED is able to represent absolute black, and I'm really wanting to test the limits of the expanded color gamut, I draw often at full brightness, and in dark settings where the white is not only distractingly bright but also will burn into the screen within 500 hours. Being able to reduce the transparency on those soft buttons but still have the ease-of-use but their functionality provides would be incredible!
