Importing Customized Brushes on iPad

Importing Customized Brushes on iPad

I've been using the desktop version of Sketchbook to do all my comic book work for 7 years now. It's an amazing program!

However not being able to load my customized brushes is the only reason I don't use it on the iPad. Until this feature is available on the mobile version, Procreate and ClipStudio have Sketchbook beat. I'd give anything for this feature to be added!

Though new to sketchbook, I use iPad pro.  I recently logged into Autodesk on Mac Air and downloaded some free brushes.  Have not used Air for sketches.  Why aren't the new brushes available on Mobile.  I do a lot of animal and landscape sketches and the new brushes would be VERY useful.  Why aren't brushes like fur, snow, elements available on the iOS Mobile.  This makes no sense!  When will this huge lapse be resolved???

I agree with this suggestion. It would be great if we were able to use "Hudson Rio industrial design brush package" in Ipad Pro. I have been using it already in Desktop Versions.

Yes, this is a pretty vital feature for iPad Pro.

Sketchbook is a brilliant app and it is the perfect sketching/design tool for ipad Pro with Apple Pencil. The inability to import the additional brush packs etc is a massive usability issue and prevents you from making the most of this potentilly amazing software when on the move with iPad.   😞

Hi @Anonymous,

We are planning to roll out features over time in order to get feature parity across all of the SketchBook platforms.

The ability to download brush sets is on that list. Release date is TBD.

Maybe the new iPadOS (inline with iOS 13) being released in the fall will help push this request along. I don't know what coding or delivery differences/conflicts there are between the desktop and mobile brush sets for any of the platforms, but I can only imagine there has to be a way to do this for Sketchbook. I'd love to be able to make Sketchbook my go-to mobile app again as it is on my desktop.
