Work on both I-pad and Mac

I draw on my I-pad and save in my Dropbox.

Why does the program choose the .png format. when exporting ? I can open it in my Mac. But my layers is lost.

What am I doing wrong?

Export to PSD or save to the ICloud (.tif format).
