Layer issues with Sketchbook for Galaxy

Not applicable
I’m using the Autodesk Sketchbook for Galaxy app that came preloaded on my Galaxy S-tab 2(android version 7.0)

The problem I’m having is with the layer panel. I can create a new layer, but when I try to move it the layer disappears leaving a blank spot where it should be. I can’t select this blank spot, I can’t move it or do anything to it whatsoever. The add layer button also changes to the delete layer button, but when pressed it actually creates new layers, that then subsequently vanish when an attempt to move them is made.

I’ve tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling, but the problem persists.

It’s incredibly frustrating as this makes the app basically unusable. I love this program and would welcome any suggestions to fix the issue. Thank you for any help you can give me.

SketchBook for Galaxy is an older version of SketchBook.  You will need to get the latest version of SketchBook.

S logo = SketchBook 2.x

Pencil Logo = SketchBook 3.x (Android0 or 4.x (iOS)

The question was never answered--can we Galaxy tab a with s pen owners upgrade our provided-with-the-tablet version? Do we have to now purchase a copy to get rid of the layer but?

Thanks in advance.
