How in the heck do I cut part of an image and paste onto another?

I have been all over this forum, youtube and played with sketch till I almost tossed my ipad.

How in the heck can I cut part of an image, then... take that cut out... and paste it onto another image?

Trying to get creative for my nephews for christmas and really would like to do this.....

If autodesk sketchbook cant do this, what apps can?

Go to the Layer Editor.  Hold on layer and there will be an option to cut/copy/paste.

a. Import image.

b. Make a selection OR import new image.

c. Make a new layer.

d. Cut/Copy/Paste into new layer.
