Gallery recovery is missing

I moved my files to my sd card and they disappeared from the gallery. Another user had a similar problem and they were able to use gallery file recovery to restore their gallery. However when I went to do the same thing, I couldnt find gallery recovery in my preferences. Sketchbook says its updated and that gallery recovery is a new feature, but I just dont have it. I'd like my gallery back as it was, so if anyone has any ideas on how to help, thank you in advance

If the sketches are on an SD card, you need to manually import them one at a time.  See step 9 noted here:
