first brush stroke gets auto deleted sb mobile

Dear sketchbook team and community.
I have a constant issue with sketchbook mobile, skipping or auto deleting the first brush stroke. Not every time but sometimes during the drawing session pauses or when choosing a new brush, the first stroke I do autodeletes or undo automatically by itself, in a moment when I lift the stylus. I can't regain it by tapping a redo or undo. It's frustrating because sometimes I loose some good spontaneous brush strokes and I have to redo it again.
I use the galaxy note 4 with android 6.0.1 the last updates of sketchbook v 5.1.3. I also have the galaxy note pro with kitkat 4.4.2 with the sketchbook v 4.1.8. It does the same thing on both devices. The problem was always present in previous versions of sketchbook it didn't appear with last updates.
With every update I was hoping that the problem will be solved but is still there.
I hope You have some solution for this problem.

Best regards
Jurij

For the Note 4,   can you try to do a test sketch and save it to the Gallery and then re-open it to see if the strokes will come back?  i.e.  tally marks - https://www.enchantedlearning.com/math/tally/

Is is a particular brush?

For the older Android version 4.x, it will not upgrade to 5.x because of the updated API required for newer versions of SketchBook.

I would use the same tally mark test on the older version of SketchBook.

Thanks for the quick response.
It happens with different brushes no matter of type or size,
I've tried to save the sketch and reopen it but the brush stroke was still missing.
I did some additional tests, it doesn't happen only with first stroke but also during the sketching, (skipping brush strokes) I did try to change properties of the brush like color or size and than make a stroke and it occur more frequently, I mean it doesn't make drawing impossible with time you get used to it. I tough it could be connected to an autosave function running in background.
I have two galaxy note 4 one running 4.4.4 and one with v 6.0.1 and both are acting in the same way and the note pro does the same.

I did more tests as you recommended
it skips the stroke 1st or 2nd only when I open a color puck or something from the menu even if I don't change anything just open and close. I also discovered if I wait for 3-4 seconds after closing the color puck or brush properties and then start to draw it doesn't occur until I open it again. If I use the brush without touching any menu or brush properties it doesn't happen. Tested on note 4 with last update.

Can you make a video and upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive?  I drew some numbers (1 stroke per number) and then got to a tool and can back and I can seem to reproduce it.

here is attached a timelaps video where is visible what is going on. Notice that the problem occur only when I change color or open the menu. I have problems mostly with curves like circles it doesn't skip straight lines. I wonder if somebody else have the same problem.

Thanks for your feedback.  I have logged the issue with the development team.  You found an interesting problem with easily reproducible steps.
