Distort Issue [Desktop]

I've been using the desktop version of Sketchbook lately.  While it's good and enjoyable to work with, it's got some issues here and there that just becomes infuriating. One of these is the distort tool. I really like the idea of changing the centre focus point of a selection. Problem! At times (seemingly when you've distorted the selection already) when you try to change the centre point it completely freaks out and is completely unworkable:

Seriously, what is that? Kinda defeats the entire point of the feature if it wigs out after you've transformed/distorted the selection.
I tried downloading the Windows Store version to see if it did the same there, and as far as I can tell it doesn't. It also runs MUCH MUCH smoother, but since I'm not on a mobile device here, my Kamvas doesn't register touch gestures and even if it did I wouldn't want to use them on my computer because I have a keyboard.

As I said this is just one of the many problems I run into with the desktop version, but this might be the worst one. I tried checking for changelogs/release notes to see when the desktop version was last updated, but the notes I could find doesn't have any dates. Is the desktop version even getting worked on still? If not, might as well just stop using it. No need to work with a tool that misbehaves and never will be fixed.

EDIT: Checked the About box in the program (not sure why I didn't start with that) and apparently the last update was in April of last year. So, over a year ago...

I downloaded a Superman logo and dropped it in a new canvas and I was not able to get the 'snapping' of the middle point to the outer boundaries of the transform tool.

a. What tablet and driver are you using?

b. Can you test with attached sample logo?

I downloaded the logo and tried it both in my file I'm currently working on and as is when opening the image in Sketchbook. I could replicate the issue both in my own project file and when opening the file on its own. Albeit seemingly to a lesser degree when opening it on its own, but I can't say whether that's a factor or not.

My project file is 4200*6300, 600dpi.

I use a Huion Kamvas Pro 13. The latest firmware update and latest drivers. The driver's version number is 14.7.154.586

I should note that the problem persists whether I use the tablet or a mouse. I've tried with both the mouse and the pen, as well as with the mouse when the tablet is not connected.

Edit: The "snapping" is only part of the problem. It also jitters and moves in directions contrary to the mouse pointer.

Can you uninstall the Huion Driver, reboot computer and test it with just a 'mouse'?

I am using a Wacom tablet and it works as expected.

Uninstalled the drivers, rebooted, and tried again. It behaves exactly the same as before.

Backup your brushes:

Then Reset SketchBook:

Retest SketchBook using only the 'mouse".  Then install Huion Driver and re-test it again.  If you have access to another computer, I would test it out on that one as well.

I would also update your video card driver as well.  I am running an older Quadro FX 4600 card.  If you are running a laptop that has a video card, try to use 'maximum performance".  It is noted as #5 here:
