Disable touch to paint on sketchbook desktop

I've been browsing the forums trying to figure out how to disable touch to paint and the accepted answer is always by the same guy and its always incorrect. There is no way to disable touch to paint on the desktop version of Autodesk Sketchbook that I know of and I don't use a mouse to paint. I want to be able to use my fingers to zoom in and out and move layers around. The App version for Windows 10 is extremely restricted and I will not be using it as a solution. Either update the App version or please help me with the problem.

Do this:

The great thing is that you can enable/disable it on the fly without an 'reboot'.

This is not a solution. Doing that just entirely disables the touchscreen, not touch-to-draw as the OP wants.

I agree.  I have logged this as a suggestion with the development team.

I have just recently been getting into digital art and stumbled upon AutoDesk Sketchbook.  I had been using the tablet version, simply because it was the only one that I knew existed.  I found the desktop version after searching around and it does have many more great features!  However, the fact that it does not have the "pen mode" makes it frustrating to use.  It's a huge benefit on a 2-1 computer to be able to pinch/zoom/pan/rotate all with your fingers while not having to worry about making a mess out of your artwork.

I looked around to see if there was someway to enable a feature like this but have found that there are multiple forums starting from January 2018 about these same issues.  This makes me think that the feature will not make it into the desktop version but I would still like to bring it up and ask the question.

AutoDesk, can you please take a serious look into adding this feature into the desktop version?

It seems as though the hard work has already been done because it is a feature within the Windows Store version.  Is it not possible to use the same coding?

Thank you for lisening to my concern.  It really is a great program and adding this feature would make a lot of people happy!

I have the same problem. I also started digital art recently and now I'm constantly switching between two versions when I need to use some of the other features. I hope they'll fix it soon.
