Color and tool keeps changing while i’m working

Why is it that when drawing with the apple pencil on my Ipad 12.9 the tool and color changes while i am working.  I have to stop and get the correct tool and color again in order to proceed with what i am doing... it is offputting and aggravating...  is there something i am doing wrong or is it an app problem?  Oh... IOS 11.2.1 if that makes a difference

Open SketchBook > {=} > Preferences > UNCHECK >> Tap-hold for Color Picker.

I did change the setting color keeps changing from black to purple as I'm working.

• I’m having the same problem, did you ever find a solution?  I have the preference tuned off but it still happens

I’ve also had these problems. I’ve found to keep the color the same throughout use, go to where you select the color and put the h, s, and l all the way down. Hope this helps!
