Can Max Canvas Size be changed on PC?

I need to create a canvas at 300 dpi 35" x 45" for a large scale collaborative class project, size is completely non negotiable, however autodesk has a max set and forcibly lowers my dpi or makes my canvas smaller every time i try to set my canvas to my needed specifications. Is there any way to manually shange the max canvas size for the program? I am aware doing so may cause lag/glitches and do not mind.

Thanks in advance for any answers!

Seems like it isn't possible. There is a pixel limit of 10000 x 10000. If your image resolution it lower than this, it works. But 35" x 45" at 300dpi is bigger than that.
At least I was able to create a document with Sketchbook Pro with 35" x 45" and 250dpi, but I can not increase the dpi to 300 then. It causes no error but Sketchbook doesn't scale it up.
Maybe it is limited by my PC, limited by code or buggy somehow. I testet on a system with i7-7700HQ, 16GB RAM, GTX 1060.
Maybe @david.lau can give a detailed information about this.

We are limited to 10k X 10K size is the max.  Some reference of it is noted here:

There will be a potentially a lot of lag on canvas' this large.
