Hi

I can not display any NASTRAN results (especially the contact pressure) on a model ran by the NASTRAN solver.

I use the 2017 release ; is there any manipulation to do ?

Thanks

Hello @benalain13,

can you confirm if the "Contact" panel is available in the results environment (see Figure below)?

If the "Contact" panel is not visible, please activate that display of the "Contact" panel following the steps below.

1) Right-clicking on the blank area of the ribbon.
2) Go to "Show Panels".
3) Activate "Contact".

Hi,

I have a similar problem: after performing a linear static analysis with the Nastran Solver, I can't see the contact pressure in the results.
In the analysis I set the contacts between the two parts as surface contacts, configuring the contact to be solved with Nastran.
After simulation, even loading the contact tab inside the Ribon interface, no result is loaded by selecting the Pressure button.
Some idea?

Thanks for your help!

I solved the contact pressure problem thanks to Autodesk support. Here is the procedure to follow:

1) open "cmd" like administrator

2) run the following commands:

cd C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Simulation 2018

regall

Note: after command "cd" put the right folder of Simulation. Regall command can take some minutes.
