How to create nodal acceleration response plots?

Hi,

As a recent convert to using Autodesk Sim Mech, I'm getting to grips with using the software (vast majority of my experience has been using IDEAS). In ASIM, I've completed the modal and random vibratiuon analysis for the design but I'm strugling with how to create/generate acceleration response plots at various nodes in my model.

The input parameters for the random vibration are shown below;

As an example, below is a response plot for a design analysed using a differnt FE tool and I'd like to be able to replicate the same information in ASIM.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Dal,

I assume you are trying to look at transmissibility.  Unfortunately ASM does not output acceleration, nor can it be inferred from the results as we report relative displacement, not absolute.

I apologize for the inconvenience of this.  I recommend requesting this feature on our Ideastation, where other users can vote for it.

Hi Dal,

I had requested the same capability. If you go to the Ideatation and search for "response" you will see two related requests. Please vote on those! Autodesk Simulation should have this capability.
