where is api documentation?

i wanted to try and make a script that changes filepaths, but can't open embedded editor or find the python api documentation. i have no scripting folder under install dir/documentation. is there an online link to the api?

also when trying to run scripts i only get 'no editor set', i just wanted to use the embedded editor, docs say it should be good to go as default, any ideas what can be wrong?

Hey it should be in the
composite 20##/documentation/scripting
It is an html file. However, it would seem that the documentation for this
with 2012 is missing? If you know of anyone who has 2011 then it will
be there.

Yes it is missing from composite2012. I have a Composite2011 at home, will get it and zip it somewhere tomorrow.

aaahh, excellent! thank you, appreciate this.

and thanks for the zip kiboost, this will indeed help :)
i see there's even a section on setting up the python environment as well, nice!

did you finish that reload script? it's just what i wanted to make, a script to change paths and reload everything.

first the editor, then see what happens

thanks again!

ok, i'm still stumped.
just trying to run the hello world example from here :

trying to edit that script gives me 'no editor set', running the script prints 'success running python script', but no hello dialogue.

the docs says 'In the case of the embedded interpreter, the environment is already set up by Toxik for a Python script to run properly.'

so i've not installed python or anything, is there more missing from 2012, or is it me that is missing something?
