Improved Snapping

Improved Snapping

Snapping has improved leaps and bounds in Robot but I am still mystified as to why it is possible to snap to an arbitrary point in 3D space.  My idea would be for all snaps to be to something (whether node, intersection, perpendicular to item etc) UNLESS you hold say ALT.

 

Example:

I have drawn a steel frame and want to add cladding panels

I have the nodes defined for the steel frame and really just want to snap to these and occasionally perpendicularly to members.

If I am not careful with my clicking I choose a point in random 3D space which looks adjacent to the node I am trying to select but is in fact not the node.
