Wind simulation - Error issue - no pressure maps when running

Hi,

I have tried running the wind simulation on the attached model which is a 16 story building, two separate blocks connected at the bottom. I set the wind pressure etc. and run the wind simulation it runs through the x+ direction simulation and load generation and then into the next direction, then it suddenly stops and I get an error message stating to send error to autodesk. see attached when I run the wind simulation the pressure maps do not show as they usually would when running the wind simulation nor doe the arrow show in the image? has anyone come across this before and if they did what was the issue and how did they get it sorted? Anyones help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have tried running the model again in the wind simulation and again it stopping have way through. I have attached download link below to the model, if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get it to work it would be appreciated. the outer external perimeter is a mixture of cladding and concrete walls and the base levels are stepped so I tried applying the wind load at the highest base level of 3m in the wind simulation but still it stops and no pressure maps shown during the simulation which leaves me to believe its not working correctly. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @skellyRSA2023 ,

The problem is that your model have some unflat panel...

try to correct it, flatting all the panels, to do this you can use the API called flatness that you can find in the API collection page in this forum.

thanks you very much for looking at this. I have amended panel 489 and run wind simulation but still does not produce the pressure maps etc. see attached I just amended the edges however this puts other panels out? as there are quite a few inaccuracy in the model. is there an easy way of aligning all the panels up? using the detail correct tool in some way?

since I uploaded the model this morning, I have run the model again, running one direction at a time and then stopping, and saving, and it seems to have generated the wind loads on the building (see attached). however when the wind simulation was running there was no pressure maps showing or arrow point in the wind direction, just a wire frame shown, but seems to have worked? however may this have been down to the size of the model?
