what is the difference  in  slab choosing ?  shell and slab rigid diaphragm  (Is it just visual or is there something I need to consider before going forward with this solution?)

1)how can i add the wind load in the centre?

2)how can i get the wind UX UY UV UZ the different case to calculation?

3)how can i get the node which is the most deformation ?

4)how cab i see the deformation shape of the model under wind load?

The difference is that in a shell the in plane stiffness is modeled, with a rigid diaphragm the slab is pretty much rigid, deforming like a rigid body without any kind of in plane local or global distortion.

1)Why hey would you want to insert the wind load in the center? Normally you insert it on an edge. You may do it by a line load in the middle of the slab, or a point load on the center of the slab.

2)You need to insert the load on the panel. I do that on my channel you should take a look at it.

3)You can get 5he extremes for a nodes selection.

4)You select the wind load and ask for the deformation.

Take a a look at my channel. It should help you out and it is free 🙂
