I designed simple beam. Where can I find the utilization of the construction? No matter what I chose in 'Maps on bars' -> 'Design it is always it always is equal '0'. Displacements and internal forces are ok.

Hi @Anonymous ,

You need to set up your beam/column/truss elements according to its design parameters first before you can get Utilization results on them.

You might find the link below very helpful for what  you are looking for.

I choose proper cross-section and material, element type is beam. Supperts and forces are also correct. What else can I do? Do I need to pay attention to a part of the video or watch it full?

Actually, what do you mean by "utilization"?

Do you want to display a map for Design Ratio on bars?

Run the steel member verification, then the Design Ratio is available.

I wanted to check carrying capacity in %. For example, if it's 70% I know I can pick a smaller cross-section. A few years ago I made 3D truss and you could find this option easily, with colorful bars etc. I saw what part of construction could be reduced and where the bars need to be more massive.

In polish 'wytezenie konstrukcji'.
