Uniform planar loads on contour

Hi all

I am trying to apply a planar load on a contour. I have followed these instructions here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/robot-structural-analysis-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHe...

This is my process below. I have switchroom model from Revit which I have transferred to Robot.

1. I've added the supports and connected the nodes where misalignment occurred.

2. I've added a floor and added a Plana Load as my DL

3. I've selected my second Case (LL1) which will be the weight of the switchgear equipment and I have followed the procedure as shown in the image attached. In the end though, when I click to Apply the load, nothing happens.

I have attached the file in case you want to give it a go. The version is in 2019.

Hi @Anonymous

All the procedure you followed to assign the load is right, except after you press add the window is closed then you have to select the plate No. 78 in your model "not no. 1 as it's written, as no. 1 is a bar not a panel" in Assign to section. then press add.

I have seen the model, and the load is found but not assigned to the panel. just don't forget that last step.
