Unexpected Non-linear model definition

Hi all,

I found a for me weird behaviour with non-linear model definition. it looks like that some values of D1 does not work properly?

see picture below

These are the graphs i expect to see at every defined model.

the weird behaviour is if i change the value than i get the graph expected.

File is attached.

Hope someone can explain why this happens?

data is written with dynamo script.

thanks in advance

Gr Edward

HI @1234eddie

Probably model was created using version older than 2022 (for which problem with non linear supports/releases) diagrams was corrected. When you modify support using in 2022 diagram is recalculated correctly.

Refer  to Incorrect presentation of non-linear support properties diagram in Robot Structural Analysis

@Krzysztof_Wasik

thanks for your reply, but that's not the case. file is created with RSA2022

File created (version): 35.0.1.8274
File modified (version): 35.0.1.8274

but you are saying that's only representation that's wrong or is the non-linear model also wrong when this happens?

Hi @1234eddie

You are right it is problem will diagram scaling.

  1. Click right mouse button on diagram
  2. Select Diagram Parameters
  3. Switch off Automatic range
  4. Define range for x axis (-30;30)
  5. OK
  6. Review diagrams for supports

Refer to video

As far as I could check despite incorrect diagram presentation support definition is recognized correctly

@Krzysztof_Wasik

Thanks for the video and your check. I did not know that you could change the diagram view.
