unable to mesh with 1.0 element size

Hi,

I am encountering a meshing issue. The model was able to mesh using 1.0m element size, however, after I added 6 short beams to connect a column to the shear wall, the model always stuck midway through the meshing using the same 1.0m element size.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards

Hi @Anonymous

Try to switch off the use of the regular mesh. If this doesn't work zip and attach your model.

Hi Mr Artur,

This is a project under my company, I am not sure if I can share it publicly online.

is there a way that I can send you the model privately?

Regards.

Some info for other forum users:

It was solved outside of the forum.

Model contained more than 2000 panels with unfrozen FE meshes.

It was necessary to run consecutively local mesh generation of cores and then slabs to obtain frozen FE meshes.
