Pal look at robot's site i.e. robobat.com and look for the movie turorial also in the robot package it include pdf file robot tutorial also in robot site you can find it there

I like BIM of autodesk, But with autodesk softwares when you design steel conection in robot, then not link it to autocad structural detailing or revit structure

there's an integration between Revit and Robot & integration between Revit and ASD 
and you can use Revit to link between Robot to/from ASD

I hope if I can help you, but I moved to autodesk advanced steel and autodesk advanced concrete, and I no longer use ASD, keep in mind that, autodesk have discontinued ASD since ASD 2016
