Thin wall section design problem

Hi,

I created a new thin wall section and I did all the steps necessary in order to RSA to be able to run the design. When I run the calculations, there is an error that says " the following parameters of the section.... used in the calculations are incorrect: Ay, Az."  and the warning " For members 1 the program has not performed the analysis of thin-walled members..." . When I watched the tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joVyqoPnLU4&list=PLY-ggSrSwbZqow_60fiqJwS69mg1nQMzk, the same error and warning apear at the webinar.  Finally, at the calculation note there is no buckling checking and the net area to gross area ratio is equal to 1. All the above make me think that the checking is not according to EN1993-1-3.

Finally I realise that I write the additional data of the section, as you can see below, but when I open the data base again, the most of them goes back to 0 value.

Could you give a hand?

Thanks

HI @TSOFA

I see  that AY and AZ are defined as 0

Probably you have not defined shape type necassary to recognize section as thin walled.

Update those parameters in User database

If you modify something in section database, validate modifications by activating record next to the one  which was just modified (usually record above). Then modifications are saved.
