Do you have any idea how I can model the stiffeners of that are shown at the drawing? I m also attaching the model
What I did was to create panels exact as the finite elements at the area of the stiffeners and give them the thickness of the stiffener. You can see it at the photo below. Do you think that this is right? I saw that the FE took the properties of the new stiffener and erased the ones of the chimney. I am also attaching the model https://we.tl/t-DXUCMdDL6Q The only thing that it seems strange is that I was expecting higher Von Mises stresses where the stiffener is because the area there is stiffer now, but it seems that it didn't work like this
